Permanent replacement timing depends on the measurements, required glass specification and supply. We explain the next steps and expected timing after checking the opening; custom glass may require a return visit.
The appropriate glass depends on the location, glazing system and applicable safety requirements. We inspect the opening and specify tempered, laminated or another suitable product as needed. Custom safety glass may require fabrication before installation.
We first check whether the moisture is on the surface or between sealed panes. For a failed insulated glass unit, we normally recommend replacing that unit. If the sash and frame are sound, you may not need a complete new window. We confirm the suitable repair after inspection.
