The team responded quickly, cleaned up the broken glass, and temporarily boarded up the opening to keep the business secure. Once the custom glass was ready, Max came back and completed the storefront glass replacement professionally, including sealing the new glass and finishing everything neatly. Commercial work is quoted after a look at the door, because hardware brands and frame conditions vary widely. Cost follows the hardware involved, whether parts are stocked or ordered, frame repairs, the number of doors, and evening or weekend attendance.

The work
We check the door through a full cycle: opening force, closing sweep, latch speed, backcheck against the wall, and whether the door latches under its own power. A commercial entrance that has to be pulled shut is a latch, closer or alignment problem, and each one leaves a different signature in how the door moves.
Slamming, drifting and doors that stop short are closer problems. We adjust sweep, latch and backcheck valves independently, reset spring power for the door width, and replace closers that are leaking oil, since a leaking body cannot be topped up. Concealed and floor closers are rebuilt or swapped with the door supported clear.
Exit devices, mortise locks, cylinders and electric strikes get stripped, cleaned and adjusted, or replaced where the latch mechanism is worn. Exit hardware has to release with one motion from the inside, so anything binding is dealt with before it becomes a life-safety issue. Keying can be matched to your existing system.
Worn pivots or hinges can let a storefront door drop and scrape the threshold. We inspect its support hardware and frame alignment, replace suitable worn parts and adjust the door so it closes and latches correctly.
Kicked-in hollow metal frames are straightened and reinforced behind the strike, worn thresholds are replaced, and perimeter weatherstripping is renewed so the door does not whistle or let water into the entry. Repeat-target doors can be fitted with a wraparound reinforcement plate and longer strike screws.
If a door has been forced and cannot be made secure that night, we secure the opening temporarily so the building is closed, then return with the parts. Doors that need a replacement frame or slab are quoted separately, and we can stage the work so the entrance stays usable through trading hours.

Call day or night for immediate emergency dispatch. We attend emergencies at night and on weekends. Non-urgent commercial work is regularly booked for evenings, early mornings or weekends so your entrance is not out of service while customers, staff or tenants are moving through it. Out-of-hours rates are confirmed when we quote.
Some closers can be adjusted; others need replacement. We inspect the closer, door alignment and hardware to identify the cause of slamming. The repair depends on the condition and type of closer, including whether it is leaking or damaged. We explain the options and quote before work begins.
Yes. We service, adjust and replace exit devices, along with the mortise locks, cylinders, electric strikes and door coordinators that work with them. Exit hardware that sticks or needs a shove is dealt with promptly, because an exit door has to release with a single motion from the inside without any special knowledge.
Yes, and that is a large part of the emergency work. We secure the opening first so the premises can be locked, straighten and reinforce the frame where the entry was forced, and fit new locking hardware. If the door or frame cannot be brought back, we quote a replacement and keep the opening secure until it is installed.
Yes. Lobby entrances, common-area doors, stairwell and garage doors, garbage room and mechanical room doors, and unit entry doors are all regular work. We can work through a list of deficiencies in a single attendance and coordinate access and elevator booking with your property manager or superintendent.
Yes. Parts we supply and labour we perform carry a written warranty, issued with an itemised invoice that suits a property management or insurance file. If a closer, pivot or lock we installed fails within that period, call the same 24/7 number and we come back out to it.
