Glass is quoted after measuring. Size, thickness, tempering, laminated or coated glass, whether it is a single pane or a sealed unit, upper-floor or ladder access, and after-hours attendance are what determine the cost.
On-site estimate visits are free for most jobs. We confirm whether your visit is free or chargeable before booking.
The work
We assess the damage, remove hazardous glass and arrange temporary securing where needed. We explain any restrictions on access or use while the opening is waiting for permanent glazing.
We inspect the frame and glazing system, then measure the replacement size, thickness and specification on site. Coatings, spacer details and safety-glass requirements are confirmed before ordering.
We recommend glass suited to the opening and its safety requirements, including tempered or laminated options where appropriate. Insulated units, low-E coatings and appearance are discussed before you approve the order.
When the insulated glass unit has failed, we check whether it can be replaced within the existing sash and frame. Sound surrounding components can often be retained; any additional repairs are explained before work begins.
The new glass is bedded, the beads or stops are refitted, and the perimeter is sealed so water drains out of the frame rather than sitting behind the glass. We vacuum the track, sill and floor for fragments, take the broken glass with us, and leave you an itemised invoice suitable for an insurance claim.

We are available 24/7 with immediate emergency dispatch for an exposed or unsafe opening. The technician assesses safe access, debris removal and temporary securing on site. Permanent replacement timing depends on the measurements, required glass specification and supply. We explain the next steps and expected timing after checking the opening; custom glass may require a return visit.
The appropriate glass depends on the location, glazing system and applicable safety requirements. We inspect the opening and specify tempered, laminated or another suitable product as needed. Custom safety glass may require fabrication before installation.
We first check whether the moisture is on the surface or between sealed panes. For a failed insulated glass unit, we normally recommend replacing that unit. If the sash and frame are sound, you may not need a complete new window. We confirm the suitable repair after inspection.
Coverage depends on your policy, the cause of damage, any deductible and your insurer's assessment. We provide photos and an itemised invoice separating emergency securing from permanent repairs, and help answer repair-related questions at no added charge. We clear it and take it away. That means the fragments in the frame and the track, not just the loose pieces on the floor, since the ones left in the channel are what cut hands later. Floors and sills are vacuumed before we leave, and the debris goes with us for disposal.
