Broken window crank repair in Markham: what the job involved
A broken window crank needed attention while a Markham home was being prepared for sale. The customer describes an assessment and the completed repair.
“Fast and reliable service. We needed to fix a broken window crank in a rush (required since our house was in the process of getting sold ). They sent a person on a holiday, took a look, explained the repair and got it done the very next day. We are super happy they helped us in such a rush. 100% recommended.”

“My experience was great, the company was super quick in coming to help with our broken basement window- it happened in the evening. Our technician Ben was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and did a great job! The company and technician were both easy to communicate with also. I highly recomend!”

“The smallest window in the house (basement) had a crack from one corner to another. Company sent a technician the next day and glass was replaced within a few days.
Max is the best - polite, professional, and dedicated to provide an excellent service. Everything went smoothly and I am happy with this company and experience.”

“I’m the owner of a general contracting company. My clients needed a crank replacement for their large kitchen window.
I must say I am quite impressed with the front office and the quick/efficient correspondence. I spoke with both Carol and Mary who made me feel confident that the scope of the job was understood. Scheduling was straightforward and simple.
My technician Tal was polite, knowledgeable and completed the repair a lot faster than I expected.
Honestly, 10/10 experience. I would recommend to any fellow general contractor or homeowner.

Tell us about your door, window or glass
Add photos if they help explain the work
Arrange an on-site assessment and quote
We are available 24/7. Call to discuss your repair. A form request does not confirm dispatch.
Yes. Call day or night to discuss repair availability. We assess the damaged opening, remove hazardous glass and arrange appropriate temporary securing. Permanent replacement follows once the glass is measured and ready. We explain any access restrictions and the expected timing on site.
Is it cheaper to repair a window or replace it?
A hardware or glass-unit repair can cost less than a complete replacement when the frame is sound and suitable parts are available. We inspect the window and quote the practical options before you decide. Frame damage or several failed components may make replacement a better choice.
My windows are fogged between the panes. What is that?
Moisture trapped between sealed panes can indicate a failed glass unit. We check whether the moisture is between the panes or on an accessible surface, then assess the glass, sash and frame. A replacement sealed unit may be all that is needed when the surrounding window is sound.
