The problem with the door was an interior bolt so a picture wouldn’t show anything .. but it was not an easy fix … all was done in a timely and skilled fashion! My building is located in Scarborough. The door was a commercial fire exit door. Repair wait time 1–2 hr”

Cracked, impacted or fogged panels in an aluminium shopfront system are replaced without touching the framing, provided the channel is still straight. We check that first, match thickness and tint to the panels either side, and note vinyl and signage positions before anything comes out so the graphics go back the same.
A retail entrance takes hundreds of cycles a day, and it shows at the pivots and the closer before anywhere else. We replace worn top and bottom pivots, reset sweep, latch and backcheck so the door shuts without slamming, and adjust opening force to something a customer carrying bags can actually push.
Swing and sliding operators, header sensors, push plates and touchless switches are diagnosed and repaired rather than replaced by default. Opening force, hold-open time and the detection field across the opening are set and tested before we leave, because those settings are what a complaint about your entrance usually turns out to be about.
Immediate 24/7 dispatch for an exposed storefront. We assess the damage, remove unsafe glass and arrange temporary securing before permanent glazing. We explain what can be made usable and what needs further work; reopening depends on the damage and safe access.
Glazing and hardware work is booked for early mornings, evenings, Sundays or your quietest weekday, whichever costs you least. For units inside a mall or a managed centre we go through the building's contractor sign-in and after-hours access process in advance rather than arriving and being turned away at the service door.

Some hardware work can be done during opening hours if a safe work area and customer access can be maintained. Glass replacement may need a larger exclusion area or an appointment before opening or after closing. Tell us your trading hours and access requirements; we will assess the job and agree on the visit plan and expected disruption.
Mostly through paperwork and timing. Centre management typically requires a contractor sign-in, an approved after-hours window, a loading dock slot and occasionally an escort, and we arrange all of that ahead of the visit. Give us the centre name and unit number when you book, so none of it surfaces at the service entrance at six in the morning.
Usually, and it is worth doing before someone complains formally. Opening force on a manual door is set by closer spring power and by how square the door hangs, and both drift over time. Where the door cannot be brought down to a reasonable force, a low-energy power operator with a push plate is the practical answer, and we can quote one.
Yes. Multi-site retail is regular work, and we can attend a list of stores, report on each one and invoice per site or consolidated to head office, whichever your accounting needs. Each attendance comes back with photographs and the deficiencies found, so a district manager can see what was done without visiting.
It is worth pricing on a unit that has been hit before or sits on a quiet street after dark. An interlayer bonded between two lites keeps the panel in the opening under impact, so a quick smash-and-grab becomes a slow and noisy one. The premium over tempered is real, and it is no substitute for an alarm and good lighting.
It is photographed and measured before the old panel comes out so the replacement can be marked up the same way. Applied vinyl generally does not survive removal, so plan on reprinting it. Where the graphics are expensive or custom, tell us before we start and we will work with your sign supplier on the sequence.
