Window service questions
Can my window be repaired instead of replaced?
Often, depending on the condition of the frame, glass and hardware. We assess the problem and explain whether a targeted repair, glass replacement or a complete new window is appropriate before you approve the work.
Does fog between the panes mean I need a new window?
Not necessarily. A failed sealed glass unit can often be replaced while a sound frame remains. Fog inside the glass is a different issue from a draft or leak around the frame, so we check which part needs attention.
Will caulking fix water coming around the window?
It depends on where the water enters. We assess the frame joints, seals and visible signs of leakage before recommending caulking or another repair. If the problem appears to extend beyond the window opening, we explain the next step.
What if the glass is broken or the window cannot be secured?
Call our 24/7 line for immediate emergency dispatch. Keep people away from damaged glass or loose parts. We assess the opening, discuss temporary securing and arrange the appropriate permanent repair.
